Gervase Elwes was a student at The Slade school of fine art way back when. He does portraits of comedians, among other things, which have included Griff Rhys Jones, Lenny Henry, Dawn French, Jennifer Saunders, Rick Mayall, Ade Edmundson, Julian Clary, Nigel Planer and Richard Wilson.
