Keno Mario-Ghae, team manager for Cambridge University Eco-Racing Challenge 2012

The future beckons!

Keno is a Master’s Engineering Graduate from Cambridge University, where he specialised in Manufacturing and Management at the Institute for Manufacturing. He is a four time Athletics Blue and Varsity Champion in High Jump and Hurdles.

Having completed Harvard Business School’s Business Fundamentals course, he has a broad knowledge base combining technical and business skills. Particular strengths lie in: Strategy, Negotiation, Management, Marketing, Process Improvement, Prototyping, Mathematical Modelling and Business Analytics.

As Team Manager, Keno led the 60 strong Cambridge University Eco Racing (solar car) team that designed and built Resolution, an innovative vehicle with a signature teardrop design for the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge in 2013. Comparable to running a growing high-tech start-up, team leadership, management, project planning, budgeting, forecasting, negotiating,raising capital and managing stakeholders were key skills as the person ultimately responsible for the £500,000 project.
